BACK ONLINE
InkRunsCold.com is now back online as a sister site akin to
DaveGlassArt.com. Originally INK RUNS COLD was started in March 2006
hand screen printing posters in our kitchen in South Philly.
InkRunsCold.com will feature official Dave Glass merchandise screen
printed by my hands including t-shirts and posters. Posters and Tees
run as limited editions. Screen printing services are still available. |
SEARCH FOR ART STUDIO CONTINUES
One of the list of 1000 things frustrationg about living in
Philadelphia is that I have been on waiting lists for an art studio
in the city for 2 years. Nothing ever opens up. I desparately need
a space. I have a place to print but not to do artwork. I am seeking
a space that has acces to a gallery for its inhabitants and that I
can open to the public by appointment. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP |

SKETCHBOOK
FINALLY WORKING
coinciding with compiling work for my upcoming
book "SEDUCE AND DESTROY"
Sketches are finally up and running using some new web tricks I learned.
This is the RAW process where I begin every project the initial sketch.
I went thru my sketchbooks dating back to 1993 (the only ones I could
find) and picked out my favorites. Plus a couple of fun old school
punk pieces from 1985 I found (adding later).
CHECK 'EM OUT!
I will be adding some new and lost art that I personally liked the
best when I get some more free time.
Note: every piece of work Ive done is not featured on this site including
tons of freelance illustration I've done over the years. DaveGlassArt.com
only showcases personal favorites. |
OVER 20 years playing drumS PACKING IT UP FOR
A WHILE
This decision has been looming over my head for the past few years
and I finally decided to pack it up. After countless hours spent writing
music playing shows touring and all I just cant seem to join a band
that stays together more than a year or two and it has left me disenchanted
with the whole idea. Its ALL or NOTHING for me. In the broader perspective
I have been spreading myself too thin between art, music, screen printing,
raising a family, and need to focus on the things that are keeping
me going not bringing me down.
Some Philly street bum is gonna have a field day when he walks by
our dumpster. Keeping the drums had those since I was 15 but the hardware
and cymbals are just beaten to shit like they owed me money HA HA!
